New York, 925 over 1000 in a shield, probable maker, John R. Wendt.
Comprising: teapot, creamer, covered sugar bowl, and large kettle on a silver plated stand with burner. Of helmet-form with angled handles, the covers with hoop and ball finials, each etched with scrolls centering a cartouche, the stand to the kettle with four wolf head monopodia, ending in paw feet. The shaped oval tray with a gadrooned border, on four scrolled feet, the center with incised scrolls.
