Fine Gorham Six-Piece Sterling Silver Tea & Coffee Service Late 19th Century. Gorham Manufacturing Co., Providence, Rhode Island, marked sterling and numbered 9923. In an Adam style, each octagonal tapered body with bright-cut patera, pendant garlands and C-scrolls, scrolled lappet cast handles on conforming bases with matching covers headed by pineapple and leaf finals. Comprising, a teapot, coffee pot, a hot water kettle on lampstand, a creamer, a covered bowl sugar bowl, and a waste bowl; together with a silverplate neoclassical style two-handled oval tray, with a pierced border, unmarked. (7 pieces) 137.6 troy oz. Height of kettle on lampstand, 12.5 in.(31.75 cm.), Width 9 in. (22.86 cm.), Depth 7 in. (17.78 cm.), Height of coffee pot 9 in., Length of tray 32 in.
